New Sulzer Press Officer

10.11.2000

As of mid November 2000, Markus Niederhäuser will take over as press officer for the Sulzer Corporation. He will be supported in this task by Daniel Wirz, so far managing editor of the customer magazine “Sulzer Technical Review”. Hans-Caspar Ryser, who has been corporate press officer for the last twelve years, is leaving Sulzer in November 2000 at his own request in order to take up a new challenge in the corporate communications field.

Dual responsibility for press relations will be continued at Sulzer. Markus Niederhäuser (36) is at the same time head of internal and media relations. Daniel Wirz (35) has more than ten years of experience in journalism and public relations, and as managing editor of the customer magazine Sulzer Technical Review for the last three years, he has gained a deep insight into the Sulzer Corporation.

After twelve years as corporate press officer, Hans-Caspar Ryser (46) was searching for a new challenge. He has found this with the rapidly expanding retail trading group SPAR Switzerland, St. Gallen, where he will take over as public relations manager per December 1, 2000.
