A new line of stainless steel helical bevel gear drives is now available from Falk Corporation, for food industry sanitary requirements. These drives feature smooth housing and C-face mounting surfaces constructed of corrosion resistant #316SS stainless steel.

This design eliminates areas where bacteria and pathogens normally grow and provides for thorough wash downs. In addition, all unused housing holes are plugged with stainless steel caps and the nameplate information is etched into the housing allowing for easier wash down. All hardware features capsulated locknuts, further eliminating areas for bacterial and pathogen growth.

Falk’s new Ultramite SS drives also feature a C-faced input for use with any brand of electric motor. Dual lip/high pressure exclusion seals are supplied as standard to keep lubrication in, while standing up to the harsh chemical and high-pressure wash down environment found in the food and beverage Industry. All Ultramite SS drives come factory filled with premium H1 approved lubricant.

The Milwaukee, WI based Falk Corporation offers drive systems, gear drives, gearmotors, shaft couplings, fluid couplings, coupling guards, ring gears, and steel castings in mining, metal processing, pulp and paper, cement, aggregates, chemical processing, utilities, transportation, and food processing.
