New Series of Industrial Gear Pumps from Maag-Textron

06.08.2003

Maag Pump Systems Textron has developed a new series of cinox® and therminox® pumps, sizes 140 and 180. In the new production program pump size 140/140 is now also available with 120 bar discharge pressure.

Both pump-sizes have been redesigned, the housings have been adapted to the state of the art production technique. The housing forms correspond with the newest casting techniques. Therefore the heatable therminox®-housings, size 140 double skin cast for heating with heat transfer oil without steam, can be cast in stainless steel with no problem, as well as size 180 with bored heating channels.

This is important for applications of pumps with high discharge pressures and operating temperatures up to 320°C. Both pump sizes can be delivered with the usual wide Maag range of gears, bearings and seals. This enables the usage for low viscous up to high viscous discharge media. The Maag cinox®/therminox® gear pumps are installed in chemical plants wherever only a high reliability of the single components allow an economical production. The worldwide successfully installed Maag gear pumps confirm our knowledge and give us new impulses for future developments.
