As of January 1st, Jes Munk Hansen (39) will become Regional Managing Director for Grundfos’ North American operations. Jes Munk Hansen will be stationed in the regional headquarters in Olathe, Kansas.

North America is the world’s largest pump market, with an estimated yearly sales volume of $6 billion, and Grundfos aims to significantly increase its presence and activities.

Jes Munk Hansen joined Grundfos in 2000 as the Group eBusiness Manager. Since 2002, he has worked as a Senior Vice President for the Business Unit Dosing where he has successfully developed Grundfos’ chemical Dosing pump business.

During the last three years, Jes has been the driving force in integrating the acquired firms Alldos and Hilge, where the key strategy was establishing these organizations as Grundfos’ competency centers within Dosing and Sanitary products. Jes Munk Hansen will continue as a board member in Alldos and Hilge.

Jes Munk Hansen holds a MBA from London Business School and a M. Sc. in Forestry from the Royal Veterinary and Agriculture University in Copenhagen.
