New Northern Ireland Contract
ITT Flygt has completed a contract in Northern Ireland to supply a range of high quality submersible pumps and mixers for a new ...
7,000pe wastewater treatment plant near Enniskillen.
Lisnaskea Wastewater Treatment Works for DRD Water Service (NI) is a £1.9m project which involved the construction of a new facility on a site adjacent to the exiting Lisnaskea CAS plant. Flygt was awarded the pump supply contract by M&E contractor Williams Industrial Services. The plant will cater for the future development needs of the town, whilst at the same time ensuring compliance with the latest environmental standards.
In accordance with the layout of the new works, which comprises an inlet works for the removal of grit, grease and screenings, an inlet balancing tank, two Sequencing Batch Reactors and an outlet balancing tank, Flygt supplied pumps and mixers ranging from 5.9 kW to 40kW. This included SR4660 and SR4670 mixers as well as CP3300, NT3127, NP3127 and NT3153 submersible pumps. Flygt pumps were also installed within the new on-site facility for sludge thickening and odour control plant, both of which will help to eliminate odours and are necessary due to the close proximity of the plant to the town of Lisnaskea.
