The appointment marks the start of a new era in the long history of the world’s leading manufacturer of progressing cavity pumps and associated equipment, and follows the recent acquisition of Robbins and Myers by NOV Mono.
Dave’s previous role was as the NOV Country Controller for Australia. However he first joined Mono 25 years ago as an IT Manager. “Over that time I’ve seen the business grow dramatically,” says Dave. “Now we’re in a very strong position as regards our product offering, cost competitiveness and our global market presence, and it’s time to build on that position and take the business on to even greater success. One of the keys to achieving that aim will be to continue focusing closely on meeting the needs of our customers. That has been one of the secrets of our success to date, and it will continue to form a key part of our approach to the market. We are also a company that has innovation at its heart, and that will also continue in the future. We will continue to develop exciting new products, services and solutions to the problems and requirements that our customers face. This is an exciting time for us. The process of integrating Robbins and Myers into NOV Mono is producing a truly world-beating business, and with a significant manufacturing base in Australia we are ideally placed to benefit from the potential that exists in this region.”
Dave will work closely with his colleague Steve Valentine, who has been appointed Managing Director of NOV Mono Industrial, responsible for the UK, Europe, Middle East, Northern Africa, and China. Together they will lead the Eastern Hemisphere NOV Mono Industrial team which was previously headed by Paul Naylon. After 26 years with the company, Paul is leaving the business to take on new challenges outside the pump industry.
