New BUTTING Sales Offices in Houston and Milan

In order to better support its customers and to strategically expand its project business in the field of clad pipes, BUTTING has recently opened two new sales offices: Houston, Texas and Milan, Italy.

"Thanks to our global sales network, we are able to respond directly to our customers' needs," explains Norbert Heinzle, Managing Director at BUTTING in Knesebeck. "For the clad sector, Houston and Milan have emerged as strategically important locations. We are pleased to be able to support our project business there on site from now on."

Houston, USA, is considered as the Energy Capital of the World and is home to major exploration & production as well as oilfield services’ companies. Now BUTTING has a sales presence in the metropolis on the Gulf of Mexico. The new branch is headed by Patrice Brossard, Sales Director North America, who has held leading positions in this field for many years.

"BUTTING has a very strong reputation when it comes to the technology, quality and sustainability of its clad pipes and piping components. Such well-proven and superior products provide customers with long-term benefits – and I am very proud of promoting those to our US based customers," says Patrice Brossard.

Patrice Brossard, a native Frenchman, offers key expertise for the future success of the sales office: initially an engineer with a large oil company, he then worked for over a decade in managing positions with a leading manufacturer of steel pipes. In his last jobs, he excelled in the role of General Manager of a Houston-based company that manufactures flanges for piping components and more recently in a welding company – supporting the onshore and offshore oil & gas market.

Italy is also home to some major petroleum and oilfield service providers that are among the global market leaders. Good communication on site is an essential condition for success from quotation phases through project implementation and execution. For this reason, BUTTING has recently opened a new representative office in Milan. Raimondo Curridori, Sales Manager Italy, manages the business on site.

Raimondo Curridori has many years of experience in various management positions as well as in strategic sales consulting for welded and seamless pipes as well as for flat material at various companies in Italy and worldwide.
