New ABS Pump Selection & Planning Software
ABS Pumps introduces the new pump selection and planning software ABScomm. The program was specifically designed for the configuration of products of ABS’ building services. It contains the complete standard supply range including up-to-date price lists.
“With ABScomm we provide our sales representatives, planners and customers with a powerful tool to guide them from selecting the best pump or lifting station through the components selection directly to the complete technical and commercial documentation”, Hans-Dieter Christ, ABS’ Marketing Manager sums up the main advantages.
There are various access ways that allow users with different levels of product knowledge to find the best pump or lifting station according to their required application. The hydraulic selection allows for a search by application area and duty point. The latter can be determined using the integrated flow rate calculation program. To get to the right series, the selection set up leads the user either through a graphic selection or through an application tree. On the other hand there is the direct pump selection, designed for users who are already familiar with the product range.
Besides the pump selection, the software also offers the components program. You can complete a project by means of user defined positions.
A PDF file, that can be sent as e-mail is generated with the entire documentation including an arrangement of detailed data sheets.
As of right now, the software is only available in Germany but plans are to have further sales companies use it.
ABScomm was developed by VSX – VOGEL SOFTWARE, the specialist for software and Internet solutions for the pump industry.
