Million Dollar Order for ITT Flygt
ITT Flygt has received an order for USD 1,080,000 for 13 submersible pumps, which will be used in the City of Shanghais largest pump station. The station is due for completion in 2004.
As part of the continued improvements in infrastructure in Shanghai, the City’s largest pump station to date is currently under construction. At a total cost of USD 10.8 million, the Zhaojiabang pump station will handle both storm water and wastewater. Four 170 kW centrifugal pumps, with a capacity of 3.5 m³ per second will pump wastewater, whilst nine 500 kW propeller pumps, with a capacity of 29 m³ per second will pump storm water. The station is due for completion in 2004.
