Marcus A. Ketter Became New Chief Financial Officer of GEA
Marcus A. Ketter (51) became Chief Financial Officer of GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft. His predecessor Dr. Helmut Schmale (62) left the company on May 17, 2019, after more than 10 years in this position.

Marcus Ketter, a graduate economist, comes from the steel and metal distributor Klöckner & Co SE, where he played a key role in shaping the company over the past six years as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to that, he was CFO of Schuler AG and held various management positions in the thyssenkrupp Group. Marcus Ketter has been appointed to the GEA Executive Board until May 19, 2022.
