Maag-Textron Adds the Hydreco Product Line – A Hydraulic Gear Pump Company

Charlotte, North Carolina – Maag Pump Systems Textron, a division of Textron Fluid Handling Products, has brought back an old familiar name to the hydraulic gear pump industry. Hydreco, which was formerly part of the David Brown Hydraulics group, is now a division of the Maag Pump Systems Textron Company and will focus on serving the construction, forestry, agriculture, military, and mining industries.

"The strong reputation of the Hydreco name, combined with our well-known Maag name in gear pumps, will strengthen Hydreco's position in the hydraulic gear pump industry," said Dan Guthrie, director of Maag Pump Systems Textron, Inc. "With our recent successful acquisitions of the Wil-Man Polymer Filtration Group, EFC (Engineered Filtration Company) and the Fluid Systems Division of LCI®, the Hydreco division will broaden the scope Maag Pump Systems Textron's product offering to the gear pump market."

The Hydreco division has moved its headquarters from Greenville, Ohio to Charlotte, North Carolina. Manufacturing for the North-, Central-, and South-American markets will be transferred to Maag's new facility in Charlotte, North Carolina.
