14.11.2001

Charlotte, North Carolina — Maag Pump Systems Textron today announced that its Americas facility has passed the ISO-9001 certification on October 31, 2001.

Maag passed the certification based on the design and manufacture of its gear pumps and gear pump systems, filtration systems, filter elements, screen changers, fluid mixing and heat exchanger systems, product repair, and field installation services.

"While our headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland, Maag Pump Systems Textron AG, is already certified, we are very excited to receive such an honor for our Charlotte facility. We were determined to expand our gear pump systems range to include our recently acquired large area filtration, screen changers, and mixer/heat exchanger product lines. We have expanded our product repair and field services capability and recently increased our new Charlotte facility to 40,000 square feet to accommodate our growth," said Dan Guthrie, managing director, Maag Pump Systems Textron Inc.

"Passing the ISO certification is a direct result of the teamwork and commitment of our employees to provide products and services that satisfy our customer's current and future expectations. I am extremely proud of their efforts and our continued success," added Guthrie.

Maag Pump Systems Textron, part of Textron's Fluid Handling Division, is the leading designer and manufacturer of gear pumps and filter systems for the extrusion, polymer, industrial, and compounding process industries worldwide.
