L & S Associates named “Rep of the Year” for

At the annual North American Sales Meeting, Sales Director Ted Corvaia awards L & S Associates top honors for their sales performance in 2002.

Lake Conroe, Texas February 6, 2003: The Annual Sales meeting for Crane Valves North America was held at the Del Lago Resort and Conference Center in Lake Conroe, Texas, February 4th through the 6th. Crane Valve Representatives from all over North America were present for this event. During the Awards Banquet hosted by the Director of Sales, Ted Corvaia, recognition awards were presented to the Manufacturer’s Representatives who achieved outstanding sales results during 2002 for their respective brands. In addition to these awards, Peter Lofgren of L & S Associates located in Wakefield, MA, was presented with the award as Crane Valves’ “Rep of the Year.”

There to receive the award for L & S Associates were Steven Minichello and Peter Lofgren. “We really enjoyed ourselves at this meeting. It was informative and we were able to get to know the new management team at Crane. We are really looking forward to working with them this year to grow sales in New England,” said Mr. Lofgren afterwards.

GEA Recognized by CDP with ‘A’ Score for Transparency on Climate Change

GEA scores an ‘A’ for its transparency and performance on climate change by global environmental non-profit organization CDP. This marks the third time in a row that the mechanical engineering company has been included in CDP’s A list, which is the highest possible rating. According to CDP, GEA is only one of a small number of companies that achieved an ‘A’ – out of 21,000 companies scored.
