KSB involvement in EU energy efficiency programme

It is the declared goal of European Union energy and environmental policy to significantly lower the energy consumption of electrically driven industrial systems. KSB takes part in this programme launched by the EU at the beginning of 2003.

The "Motor Challenge Programme" (MCP) was, therefore, devised to reduce the power consumption of pumps, fans, compressors and other motive-power consumers. The suppliers of equipment and services for motor-driven systems can make an active contribution to the programme as so-called endorsers. To become an endorser, interested companies have to qualify and prove to be capable of making a fundamental contribution to the MCP.
