On 5 June, the Annual General Meeting of KSB AG elected the new shareholders' representatives for the Supervisory Board.

Newcomers to the Supervisory Board were Dr. Dr. Peter Bettermann (Freudenberg & Co KG, Weinheim), Dr. Gerd Kühborth (Deutsche Bank AG, Frankfurt), Richard Lederer (formerly of KSB AG, Frankenthal) and Dr. Michael Rogowski (President of the German Industry Association [BDI] and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Voith AG, Heidenheim). Those re-elected to the Supervisory Board for a further term were Bernd Euler (Siemens, Erlangen) and Bernhard Wild (Braun GmbH, Kronberg).

At its constituent meeting, the Supervisory Board appointed Dr. Dr. Peter Bettermann as its new Chairman. His predecessor, Dr. Wolfgang Kühborth, did not stand for re-election for reasons of age. The incoming Chairman knows the company from his work on the Advisory Board of Klein Pumpen GmbH, the leading shareholder of KSB AG.

Deputy Chairman from among the KSB employee representatives will be Hermann Reutter. The employees' election of members to the Supervisory Board took place on 6 and 7 May. Along with Karlheinz Leitgeb, Dr. Peter Buthmann - representing the senior managers - was also elected to the Supervisory Board for the first time.
