Keynote Speakers and a Dynamic Seminar Program Highlight ISH North America

More than 18,000 visitors from 20 countries will be in Toronto from October 31st to November 2nd for the first annual ISH North America (International Trade Fair for Kitchen & Bath, Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning), the international trade show for the kitchen and bath, plumbing, piping, heating, hydronics and air conditioning industry.

In any industry, education is key to remaining competitive. At ISH North America, the foremost experts in their fields will share their knowledge and ideas in the most comprehensive educational program the industry has to offer. More than 50 seminars will provide a wide spectrum of educational opportunities. Topics will include hydronic heating, K & B best practices, construction contracts, Legionnaire’s Disease, indoor air quality, water treatment, medical gas piping, sales and marketing and installation trends & techniques.

Richard Trethewey as Special Keynote

One speaker deserves special mention. On Friday, November 1st at 8:30 a.m., the Special Keynote is Richard Trethewey, best known for his long-term appearances on “This Old House” where he helps viewers understand the benefits of radiant heating and plumbing systems.

On the exhibit floor, more than 400 exhibitors will feature all that is new in the industry on an enormous 300,000 square foot exhibit floor. Attendees will include wholesale distributors, contractors, builders, engineers, architects, designers and building and plant managers. They will come to see all the newest products from around the world, meet with their industry colleagues and learn about new trends and techniques available to help them serve their customers more effectively.

ISH North America is produced by Messe Frankfurt, Inc., a company with centuries of experience producing exhibitions, shows and seminar programs around the world. Messe Frankfurt has teamed up with the Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating (CIPH), the American Supply Association (ASA) and the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors - National Association (PHCC) to produce a landmark event in Toronto.

A highlight of ISH North America will be an exhibit of the "Design Plus" award winners. Messe Frankfurt and Hanover’s iF Industrie Forum Design honored these 34 products with an award for innovative design. Awards were presented in the sanitation, heating, installation technology and measuring, testing, control and regulation technology product categories.
