In this position, she will report to Stefan Klebert, CEO GEA Group, succeeding Nicole Pichin, who left the company at the end of July 2020.

Meiburg joins GEA Group from Deutsche Post DHL Group, where she is currently Senior Vice President, Sustainability Communications and Programs. At GEA, Meiburg will drive global communications strategy, assuming responsibility for internal and external communications, corporate marketing and branding, as well as public affairs.

During her 14-year tenure at Deutsche Post DHL Group, Meiburg held various leadership roles, focusing on sustainability, communications strategy, digital communications and internal communications. Prior to her time at Deutsche Post DHL Group, Meiburg worked in international communications and marketing at Deutsche Telekom AG in Bonn and New York City.

Meiburg studied in Los Angeles and Tübingen and holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University in New York. After concluding her studies, Meiburg was awarded the Robert Bosch Foundation Fellowship for Young American Leaders, which led her back to Germany.

This marks the third time in a row that the mechanical engineering company has been included in CDP’s A list, which is the highest possible rating.
