ITT Industries Names Robert J. Pagano, Jr. to Corporate Controller

ITT Industries, Inc. announced that it has appointed Robert J. Pagano, Jr. to the position of Corporate Controller. Pagano was most recently President of ITT Industries' Fluid Technology Industrial Products Group in Seneca Falls, New York.

In his new role, Pagano will report to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Ed Williams, and will oversee all aspects of accounting and financial reporting for this Fortune 500 global manufacturing company. He replaces Mark Lang, who has been named VP - Finance and Controller for the ITT Industries' Defense Electronics & Services group.

"Bob brings a unique combination of financial and operations experience to this critical position," Williams said. "He is a strong leader and a seasoned executive, and I know he will be a valuable addition to the corporate leadership team."

Pagano, 41, joined ITT Industries with ITT's acquisition of Goulds Pumps in May 1997. Since joining Goulds in 1988 and following Goulds' acquisition by ITT, he has held a number of increasingly responsible positions in finance and operations, including Vice President - Finance and Controller at ITT's Fluid Technology group in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey.

Pagano graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Accounting from the State University of New York at Oswego, and holds both CPA and CMA certifications. He is a Value-Based Six Sigma Green Belt.
