ITT Industries Names Riccardo Trossi President, Motion and Flow Control

ITT Industries, Inc. today named Riccardo Trossi to the position of President of ITT's Motion and Flow Control group. He succeeds Brenda Reichelderfer, who was recently selected to head the company's Electronic Components group. Trossi was previously President of ITT's Galfer business unit, based in Barge, Italy.

ITT Industries' Motion and Flow Control segment is a group of global businesses that produce a wide array of engineered products for industrial, leisure marine and aerospace applications. Trossi joined ITT Industries' predecessor company, ITT Corporation, in 1977, and was named President and Managing Director of Galfer in 1983. He was awarded ITT Industries' prestigious Chairman's Award for Operational Excellence in 2002 and the Harold S. Geneen Award for Individual Achievement in 2001. He is a graduate of the Institute Tecnico Avogadro in Torino, Italy. In 2000, Industry Week magazine named Trossi's manufacturing plant in Barge as one of the 14 Best Manufacturing Plants in North America and Europe.
