ITT Becomes Gold Sponsor of Aquatech 2006
Amsterdam RAI has announced a new partnership with ITT, a world leader in engineering and manufacturing. Under the terms of the agreement, ITT will be the exclusive gold sponsor for this year’s edition of Aquatech Amsterdam, the world’s leading trade event for process, drinking and wastewater.
Aquatech Amsterdam 2006 will be held Sept. 26 to 29 in the Amsterdam RAI Congress & Exhibition Centre, Netherlands.
The agreement was signed by Björn von Euler, director of corporate communication at ITT, and Ids Boersma, director of international exhibitions at Amsterdam RAI. The signing symbolically took place in the Europa hall of the Amsterdam RAI, which will become the focal point for the world’s water industry in a few days.
Product Manager Xander de Bruine of Amsterdam RAI is delighted about the partnership with ITT. “It is the ideal synergy of two premium brands that can reinforce each other through intensive cooperation,” he said. “ITT is a huge player in the water industry, and Aquatech Amsterdam is the major international exhibition in the field of process, drinking and wastewater. This partnership will facilitate the task of attracting the right visitors to the exhibition for Amsterdam RAI, among other things, because ITT will directly approach its business associates worldwide to recommend a visit to the exhibition.” De Bruine added, “We are also still negotiating partnerships with a number of other parties. We are striving for a total of three or four sponsor contracts.”
According to ITT’s Björn von Euler, the cooperation with Amsterdam RAI is a perfect complement to the company’s international allure. “Aquatech Amsterdam 2006 is one of the most important events of the year to us,” Von Euler said. “We will be deploying an extensive media package during the exhibition, including advertising and pre-show and post-show promotion. This will allow ITT to simultaneously place its Flygt, Lowara, Aquious and Wedeco brands in the spotlight for the first time.”
