International Pump Users Symposium in FEBRUARY 2002
The Turbomachinery Laboratory at Texas A&M University is pleased to announce the 19th International Pump Users Symposium and Short Courses will be held February 25-28, 2002 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas.
This well-known meeting emphasizes the technology that users from across Texas, the U.S. and the world need in today’s challenging workplace. Many of the leaders are pump users, discussing today’s problems. This prestigious meeting features lectures, tutorials, case studies, discussion groups, and day-long short courses. See the Turbomachinery Laboratory webpage for a complete program.
With the determination to present the best training venue in the pump industry, the symposium has diversified the technical session line-up. A Discussion Group concerning Mixers and Agitators will be presented for the first time. In addition, a new Short Course titled, “Meeting the Latest Pump Emission Regulations with the Science of Sealing Technology” will be presented in conjunction with the Fluid Sealing Association and The European Sealing Association.
Along with superb technical sessions, the meeting is accompanied by an excellent trade show, featuring more than 250 companies. These companies will bring the latest in technology from all facets of the pump industry. For those not able to attend the technical sessions, the exhibits are open free to the public in the afternoon exhibit sessions and for part of the final day.
