Hydraulic Institute Announces New Members For 2008
Robert K. Asdal, Executive Director of the Hydraulic Institute (HI), announced that six new organizations have joined the team of 95+ HI member and associate member companies during 2008.
New members include: Smith & Loveless, Inc., one of the most highly recognized water and wastewater pumping and treatment groups in the world, Crane Pumps & Systems, a diverse manufacturer of pumps, accessories and services for the water, wastewater, military and engineered pump market segments, and Warren Rupp, a leading pump manufacturer focused on the air-operated, diaphragm pump market.
New associate members include: Emerson Control Techniques, a world leader in the design, manufacture and support of electronic drive and drive support products, Graphite Metallizing Corporation, the company that produces GRAPHALLOY, a graphite/metal alloy bearing material used in the manufacture of self-lubricating bearings and components for machinery and process systems and ASCO Power Technologies, a world leader in emergency and standby power transfer solutions. The Firetrol brand of fire pump controllers is part of the ASCO family of products.
Membership in the Institute is open to both large and smaller-sized companies. As a pump manufacturer or pump industry supplier, companies can benefit greatly from their active participation in the Institute. Members become influential participants in the creation of ANSI-approved technical standards and keep up-to-date on the latest industry developments.
