Hy-Lok USA to Unveil CNG/NGV Product Line

07.05.2010

Hy-Lok USA will promote its advancements in Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) technology at the Alternative Fuels & Vehicle Expo 2010. The Hy-Lok President and Executive Vice President will be in attendance May 9-12 at booth number 615 at The Rio All-Suite Hotel in Las Vegas.

In response to the growing demand for alternative fuel solutions in the transportation industry, Hy-Lok will be introducing dozens of new products catered specifically to the CNG market. These products are designed for single and multi-tank CNG systems looking for leak-free performance up to 6000 psig (41.4 Mpa) at a wide variety of temperature ranges.

Hy-Lok’s CNG and LNG product line includes NGV 1-certified receptacles, ball valves, check valves, relief valves, tee filters, tube fittings, and purge valves.

“We are very excited about the opportunity to unveil our new CNG products at this year’s Alternative Fuels and Vehicle Expo,” said Jody Barnes, President of Hy-Lok USA. “Hy-Lok has made a huge push towards lowering emissions through CNG, and I feel we have some of the strongest offerings in the instrumentation valve industry.”

Product examples include inline receptacles rated for NGV 1 standards, inline check valves designed to minimize chatter and fluctuations, one-piece relief valves with bubble tight leakage at 95% of set pressure, and excess flow valves that protect against downstream ruptures.

“Compressed natural gas has proven an excellent alternate fuel source, and Hy-Lok is committed to providing high quality, leak-free products that will ensure CNG’s success,” said Ron Cumlander, Executive Vice President of Hy-Lok USA.
