The smart technology recognises the consumption habits in the home and switches the pump on and off as required. The Biral company has succeeded in developing an environmentally-friendly, energy-saving drinking water circulation pump.

Hot Water at the Right Time

Circulator for domestic hot water AXW smart

You like your comfort but are still environmentally conscious?

With the new AXW smart for service water circulation, Biral is introducing a world innovation on the pump market. The combination of high efficiency permanent magnet technology with integral intelligence is unique. The permanent magnet motors with low power consumption and the self-taught pump ensure maximum comfort and a significant saving of energy. The AXW smart learns the consumption habits and provides hot water at the right time. It is therefore unnecessary to set the time and temperature.

Power cost saving up to 98%

The saving in pump power costs is up to 98%. The smart technology reduces pump running time and therefore also the heating energy for the preparation of hot water. The comfort setting on the pump head permits an easy choice from maximum energy saving to maximum comfort and shows the operating behaviour continuously on the LED display. The AXW smart service water pumps were successfully introduced on the market early in October 2009.

The Biral AXW 12 and AXW 13 in addition to the AW 15 are based on the proven permanent magnet motors and combine maximum service water convenience with minimum operating costs. The pumps were specially developed for drinking water circulation, which does not allow the pumps to be switched off. An annual saving in energy costs of CHF 150 can be achieved in this specific case. The economical service water pumps have a bronze pump casing and a wear-resistant design insensitive to dirt. The pump electronics prevent the pump blocking to ensure fault-free operation. An LED display on the pump head provides information about the operating behaviour and the power consumption at any time.
