HI Enlists Participants to Review New Standard – Rotary Condition Monitoring

16.05.2013

The Hydraulic Institute (HI), under the approval of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), is seeking qualified individuals to participate in the review process of a new standard entitled Rotary Condition Monitoring.

This new standard provides a tool for implementing process safety management, as well as general availability improvement programs. This standard is for rotary pumps, including both sealed and sealless pump designs as started in each section.

This document is intended to be used as a guide for pump monitoring and failure detection techniques as elements of safety and general pump availability programs. It does not directly address process management systems.
