Grundfos SQ submersible pumps – setting new standards for endurance

28.08.2001

The SQ range is particularly ideal for water supply for single family households – applications around the house, on farms and in green houses.

A submersible pump needs incredible endurance to survive year after year without fail.

That is why we make Grundfos SQ pumps with advanced composite and stainless steel parts.

Quality materials extend the life of our pumps considerably. So do many design features found only in SQ pumps, such as a 3" diameter design and technology that boost efficiency to the highest industry standards. There are four high-performance solutions in the SQ range engineered to satisfy all customers - the SQ, SQE, SQE-NE and SQE-Constant-Pressure System.

SQ single-speed pump

Our basic model, the SQ, is a high-performance unit that will start, even when voltage levels are low. It will run constantly, even when voltage supply fluctuates. And no separate starter box is required.

On top you get:

soft start

high starting torque

built-in protection (dry-running, over- and undervoltage, overheating and blockages

The SQE variable-speed pump

The SQE is an example of how Grundfos is harnessing the power of electronic engineering to make it easier to control pump performance. Connection to the CU 300 control unit and remote control R100 allow you to:

Read out real-time pump status

Adjust pump parameters to changing well conditions

Program speed change

Maintain constant pressure

Maintain water level

Monitor unit remotely via modem connection and PC

Flexible sensor connection according to needs

The SQE Constant-Pressure System

The SQE Constant-Pressure System with the control unit, CU 301, is the newest member of the SQ family. It has everything you need to install a complete constant-pressure pump system with ease. Easy wire and pump connections. No special tools are needed. And you can settle for a tank so small it can be hidden indoors.

The SQE Constant-Pressure System ensures you a constant water pressure and is simple to:

Install

Handle and transport

Change system pressure

Maintain pressure in filter installations

Control the status of the pump system

Save on maintenance - it is easy to take apart

The SQE-NE Environmental System

The SQE-NE is engineered for environmental applications where aggressive liquids or polluted groundwater may be present. The SQE-NE can work with a CU 300 control unit and potentiometer for pump speed adjustment and fully controlled flow rates.

In short, SQ pumps offer robust performance over a long lifetime of use.
