Grundfos Partners with Quality Service Contractors

01.04.2004

Grundfos Pumps Corporation, a leading manufacturer of pumps, announced that it has become an industry partner of Quality Service Contractors (QSC). QSC, founded in 1994, is an international association that serves plumbing, heating and cooling contractors.

It offers members state-of-the-art technical and business management training to enable contractors to better serve their clients.

As an industry partner, Grundfos representatives will attend QSC Power Meetings, which are held twice a year, to market their product line. Power Meetings are designed to help contractors at all levels in the industry maximize their productivity.

"QSC strives to help its members run their businesses more effectively and efficiently, increasing profitability, enhancing image and improving client relations," said Clint Andrews, Segment Business Specialist-HVAC, Grundfos Pumps Corporation. "As a premium supplier of the most advanced pumps and the broadest, deepest, product line in small circulators, we value the opportunity to educate this outstanding group of decision makers about the advances being made in pump technology."

"These meetings are an unprecedented networking experience, providing attendees with the opportunity to meet, speak and share knowledge with proven industry leaders," said Charlie Wallace, Executive Director, of the QSC. "Power Meetings also provide contractors with the opportunity to view the newest and most innovative products, such as those from Grundfos Pumps."

Members of the QSC are also invited to additional conferences held by the QSC throughout the year that focus on addressing contracting business and management concerns such as price versus quality and employee training.

QSC members also benefit from its Business Management Coaching, Peer Group Programs (featuring networking and mentoring support), Fast Trac Plumbing Technician Continuing Education Program, the Q-list, which allows members to canvas other QSC members for new ideas, QSC webinars (Internet based seminars) and its newsletter, The Advisor.

Grundfos and QSC will explore opportunities for partnership opportunities to support these activities as well as the Power Meetings, Andrews said.
