Grundfos in Germany will Unite

17.05.2006

Grundfos in Germany will unite the sales forces of three strong companies and approach custom-ers with one voice. In recent years the Grundfos Group has acquired two companies in Germany with different competences:

Hilge, belonging to the world’s leading manufacturers of high-quality stainless steel pumps for the food and beverage industries as well as pharmaceutical industries.

Alldos, being one of the leading global players within dosing of both chemicals and other addi-tives.

Until now these two companies, and Grundfos, have been working independently of each other in the German market. However, customers could benefit greatly when they could talk with one single sales interface, offering products and competences from all three fields.

This is why the three sales forces from 1 January 2007 will be united in a new industrial division under the umbrella of Grundfos’ German sales company, Grundfos GMBH, which will cover both the Building Service Division and this new Industrial Division.

Head of the new industrial sales division will be Mr Hermann W. Brennecke, who in addition will continue as Regional Managing Director of Grundfos’ German region. New General Manager of the Building Service segment will be Mr Ralf Brechmann.

The new industrial division will handle sales of the three business areas:

  • water supply/wastewater
  • general industrial applications
  • food, beverage and pharma

Director of Water Supply and Wastewater sales will be Mr Klaus Ackermann.

Director of Industrial application sales will be Mr Peter Kölling.

Director of Food, Beverage and Pharma sales will be Hilge General Manager, Mr Rainer Pfeffer.

All will report to Regional Managing Director Mr. Hermann W. Brennecke.

The competence regarding development and production will remain in the respective mother com-panies of Alldos, Hilge and Grundfos.

“The objective of this new division is to make Grundfos market leader in the field of industrial pumps as well as in water supply.

In future Grundfos, Hilge and Alldos will be able to offer customers optimum sales and service with their strong trademarks, product portfolios and competences united,” says Group Executive Vice President Søren Ø. Sørensen, Grundfos.

The production sites will remain at their present locations and will act as competence centres as independent companies:

Alldos , Söllingen, being the competence centre for dosing

Hilge, Bodenheim, being the competence centre for sanitary products for food, beverage and pharma.
