Grundfos Finalist in the European Quality Award

Grundfos has a good chance to win this year's European Quality Award. It is the only Danish finalist to enter the competition.

Grundfos A/S, the Danish production company of the Grundfos Group, has been

selected for the final in the competition for the European Quality Award 2003 in the category of "Operational Units". In this category only four companies have been selected for the final to be held in Helsinki, Finland, in October. On that occasion it will be revealed whether Grundfos A/S will win a prize.

Grundfos A/S has been working with Business Excellence since 1996 and in

1999 won the Danish Quality Award. The development of the company according

to the Business Excellence model in recent years has made Grundfos A/S a

member of the European elite among private companies.

GEA Recognized by CDP with ‘A’ Score for Transparency on Climate Change

GEA scores an ‘A’ for its transparency and performance on climate change by global environmental non-profit organization CDP. This marks the third time in a row that the mechanical engineering company has been included in CDP’s A list, which is the highest possible rating. According to CDP, GEA is only one of a small number of companies that achieved an ‘A’ – out of 21,000 companies scored.
