Bridgeport-NJ based Godwin Pumps, worldwide manufacturer of portable contractors pumps, recently opened a rental facility at 6 Connerty Court in East Brunswick, New Jersey.

“We’ve built a good customer base in this region over the years,” said Godwin Pumps President John Michael Paz. “Our new facility will help us open even more doors, servicing customers in their own backyard.”

Located on two acres, the 13,000 square foot facility includes an equipment yard, service shop, parts center, and offices for nearly 20 employees serving New York Metro/Northern New Jersey. The new rental facility is located minutes from the New Jersey turnpike and is approximately 30 minutes south of New York City.

The company provides rental, sales and service of automatic self-priming Dri-Prime pumps for any type and size pumping application.

Curt Hogancamp is the branch manager of the new Godwin Pumps rental office. Hogancamp, who was recently promoted to branch manager of the new facility, will oversee daily operations while developing strategies to grow the business.

Hogancamp joined Godwin’s Bridgeport, NJ sales team in 1998 as a sales engineer with the primary responsibility of developing business in the New York Metro/Northern New Jersey region. In recent years, Hogancamp traveled to various company rental facilities across the country to provide sales and operations support.

“Curt’s early experience in operations, his mechanical expertise, and his ambition led him to a sales position at Godwin Pumps nearly 8 years ago,” said Paz, President. “His performance has been exceptional and I am confident that the opening of this new location will be one of the most exciting green fields startups for us in recent years.”
