Godwin Pumps Introduces New Electric Submersible Models

27.02.2002

BRIDGEPORT, NJ (Feb. 6, 2002) – Godwin Pumps today unveiled its new Sub-Prime electric submersible pump GSP models, which feature a top discharge, flow rates to 5,000 gpm and discharge heads to 375 feet.

The new Sub-Prime units, with a slim-line design ideal for fitting into confined spaces, are designed for large dewatering applications requiring high head or high volume, with single-phase motors to 6 horsepower and three-phase motors to 80 horsepower.

“Like our existing line of reliable, small dewatering and trash handling Sub-Primes, the new large dewatering models are perfectly suited to tough construction, mining and industrial applications,” said John Michael Paz, president, Godwin Pumps. “And, the fact that we provide immediate availability and complete parts inventory makes these submersibles popular with customers for many pumping jobs.”

In addition to high flow capacity and slim design, the GSP Sub-Prime electric submersible pumps also feature a rugged construction for longer life, specifically a cast chromium steel impeller and heavy duty rubber coated adjustable wear parts.

Other features include tandem mechanical seals for dry running and extra protection against leakage, dual phase on selected models for electrical supply flexibility, and dual voltage junction chamber for convenient changeover in the field.
