BRIDGEPORT, NJ - Godwin Pumps of America, Inc., the largest manufacturer of portable rental pumps in North America, announced today the addition of the GST model electric submersible trash pump available in 1/2 and 1.0 horsepower, single phase, to its line of Sub-Prime™ submersibles.

"We are pleased to offer a trash pump in our family of Sub-Prime electric submersibles," said John Michael Paz, president, Godwin Pumps. "The GST model has a side discharge design to handle solids up to 1 inch in diameter."

According to Paz, the GST Sub-Prime pump provides high performance at an affordable price. The pump handles flows to 75 gpm and heads to 48 feet. As an option, a piggy back single float switch is available to allow for automatic pumping if desired.

Like all Godwin Sub-Prime electric submersible pumps, the GST model is designed to be compact, lightweight and extremely durable. Other features of the GST model include dry running capability, fully removable volute for easy clean-out, and motor thermal overload protection.
