FSA Appoints Joseph Boylan to Board of Directors

The Fluid Sealing Association is pleased to announce the appointment of Joseph Boylan to its Board of Directors. Mr. Boylan is currently Marketing and Sales Manager at Morgan Advanced Materials of St. Mary’s, PA.

Mr. Boylan received his B.S. Degree in Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University. He has held a variety of hands-on and staff level roles in technical, commercial, and marketing positions in his 30+ years in industry, including tribological testing, materials research and development, operations, application engineering, and marketing. He is currently responsible for the global strategic marketing activities for Morgan Advanced Materials’ Seal and Bearing business unit for their arsenal of carbon-graphite, oxide and non-oxide ceramic materials used in tribological, structural, and ballistic applications. He has an extensive background in the field of self-lubricating materials for use in rotating equipment.

“We are excited to be able to add Joe as a member of our Board of Directors,” said Rob Coffee, FSA President. “He has extensive industry knowledge and great leadership capabilities and I am very much looking forward to seeing his positive impact on the association.”

Mr. Boylan is a long standing member of the FSA since 2006. He has been very active in the Mechanical Seals Division and he currently serves on the Marketing and Membership Committees.
