FRISTAM establishes new company in Singapore

Under the name of FRISTAM (South East Asia) Pte. Ltd. and effectively October 1, 2002, FRISTAM has also established a new company in Singapore to even better cover the region of South East Asia, Korea and China. The founding of the company became necessary to further increase opportunities for hygienic pumps in the food and beverage industries as well as for applications in pharmaceutical, biotechnology and cosmetics sectors.

FRISTAM has been seeing strong growth in all major markets in Asia during the past years. Previously the company was having a Representative Office in Singapore and the upgrading comes at a right time. Mr. Gerhard Poel was appointed Managing Director. He has been with FRISTAM since the opening of the office in Singapore in 1994 and been in Asia for over 25 years.

It was as early as 1909 that the parent company of the FRISTAM Group was founded in Hamburg. Since 1931 the company specializes in the production of highly sophisticated sanitary pumps. Today’s product range includes single and multistage centrifugal pumps, self-priming centrifugal pumps, circumferential piston pumps, rotary lobe pumps and nutating disc pumps made of solid stainless steel.
