The multinational Wilo Group has opened a new plant in India. In Kesurdi in the west of the country, a sustainable and ultra-modern high-tech production complex has been built on a 94,000 square metre site. Here, the technology group manufactures premium pump systems for water management in India, the Middle East, Africa and South-east Asia.

Pumping systems are responsible for over 20% of the world’s electrical energy demand, and in some industrial plant operations, they can account for up to 90% of energy usage. Improving the energy efficiency of pumping and mixing systems is crucial in reducing production costs and supporting a more sustainable future.

Celeros Flow Technology (Celeros FT) has enhanced its comprehensive pump re-engineering service, which aims to optimize pump performance and reduce total cost of ownership (TCO) as well as renewing obsolete equipment. Offering a more holistic approach to pump servicing, the Celeros FT re-engineering programme supports customers who need to replace components or repurpose their flow control equipment.

As part of an asset deal, WILO USA LLC, a subsidiary of WILO SE, has acquired the operating business of QuantumFlo, Inc, a specialist in pressure boosting systems and intelligent pump systems. The company, based in Sanford, Florida/USA, offers high-quality products and innovative, user-friendly software solutions for the design and control of pressure boosting systems.
