The Flowserve Corporation has published a new full color, 20-page Mining and Mineral Processing brochure. This bulletin showcases the Pump Division’s full range of mining and mineral processing pumps for such services as: benefication, hydrometallurgy and refining.

The catalog also presents special purpose pumps for such applications as: dewatering, delivery of process water and the transport of slurries.

The brochure showcases the features of Flowserve’s extensive line of erosion- and corrosion-resistant pumps for such benefication processes as: grinding, classifying, separating and concentrating. Designed for toughness and versatility, these pumps handle such severe applications as: cyclone feed, heated brine transfer for potash precipitation, mineral/flocculant transfer for base metal flotation and heavy media separation.

The literature also points out that Flowserve pumps utilize the world’s broadest range of alloys, hardened metals and non-metallic materials, ideal for handling aqueous solutions, dissolving agents and corrosive and erosive slurries found in solvent extraction. The bulletin also notes that Flowserve pumps can be used for a wide range of refining services such as: sulfuric acid recovery, ash handling, flue gas desulphurization scrubbers, cooling water and electrolyte transfer.
