Europump Annual Meeting 2009 – Stockholm, Sweden

20.01.2009

The 49th Europump Annual Meeting will be held in Stockholm 3 - 6 June 2009 at the city’s Grand Hôtel. The meeting gathers leading pump manufacturers from Europe and the United States to discuss the issues that affect the global pump industry.

This year, a key subject under discussion will be the Energy-using Products Directive (EuP) implementation within the EU, as it will be a challenge for the pump manufacturers to adapt their production to this ruling.

Alongside the meeting there will also be study visits to pump installations and test facilities with an eco-theme such as the underground test wastewater treatment plant “Sjöstadsverket” just a few kilometres south of Stockholm. The Gala Dinner will be at the City Hall where the annual Nobel Prize dinner is held in December.
