Easy to service Rotary Vane Pump

18.03.2002

Good news for all rotary vane pump users: pump specialist ASF Thomas has developed and introduced a new series of dry running rotary vane pumps that can now be serviced by the end user. The TF 3 ECO and TF 6 ECO are designed for the easy replacement of parts subject to wear and tear without time consuming adjustment procedures. After the simple removal of four screws all further steps are foolproof thus precluding possible assembly/re-assembly mistakes.

This service friendly pump design impresses with a flow rate of either three cubic meters per hour (Model TF3 ECO) or six cubic meters per hour (Model TF 6 ECO) and a high life time of 10,000 hours. The TF ECO series generates a vacuum of over 85 % and a maximum pressure of 1000 mbar. Needless to say, all advantages of a rotary vane pump are featured, namely: compact size as well as smooth and quiet operation. Finally, by optimising the production process, ASF Thomas is able to offer the pump at a very competitive price.

Typical applications for the TF ECO series include sewage aeration, pick and place machines, and labeling machines. Furthermore, the pumps can be used in the field of endoscopy, serigraphy, water treatment and all applications requiring a vacuum.
