CHRIST Reports Record Order Intake for 2007
Christ Water Technology has received orders worth more than EUR 327 million in the full year 2007 exceeding last year´s value by more than 33% representing the highest volume in its history.
In the fourth quarter, the order intake amounted to EUR 57 million (Q4 2006: EUR 66 million).
The order intake generated is almost entirely organic, as the recently acquired zeta Group is not yet included in this figure. Zeta Group will be consolidated as of December 31, 2007.
“Having been focusing on high quality of new orders, we optimistically start into the new year 2008. Water technology and our global positions offer us a host of chances that we will convert into profitable growth. In the year 2008 we target a considerable increase in profitability. Market conditions remain bright in all four divisions. Offer volumes continue to increase leading us to expect considerable double-digit order growth also in the year 2008,” says DDr. Karl Michael Millauer, CEO of Christ Water Technology.
Moreover, at the beginning of the year, a double-digit USD valued large semiconductor order from South East Asia was received. Again, this order underlines the leading role of CHRIST in the semiconductor markets in Asia and also gives evidence that the market is developing highly positive.
