Changes at The Top of Europump
During the annual General Meeting of "Europump" - the European association of pump manufacturers - which was held in Istanbul on June 7, 2003, Paolo Marinovich (Italy) was nominated President of the association with a two-year mandate. Peter Würzbacher (Germany) was nominated vice-president.
Over 100 delegates from various manufacturers of hydraulic pumps attended the General Meeting, organized by POMSAD, the Turkish trade association.
Marinovich, President of Lowara (a member of the ITT Industries group with headquarters in Montecchio Maggiore, Vicenza, Italy) and current President of Assopompe, succeeds Michel Laroche (France), who guided the European association during the past two years.
Europump has a membership of 450 companies from 16 countries, with an overall production amounting to 6 billion Euros. The association maintains contacts with the institutions of the European Union, promotes technical and normative activities and offers statistical information on market trends in order to improve cooperation and facilitate the industrial, commercial and organizational development of the member companies.
Lowara
