Since 2013, Hubert Achermann has been member of the Board of Directors of Implenia, where he holds the Chairmanship of the Audit Committee. He is also very committed to culture and arts, chairing the Board of Trustees of the “Lucerne Festival” and the “Friends of Lucerne Festival” foundation.

"We are glad to propose Hubert Achermann for our Board. He brings in a long-standing experience in Audit, Tax and M&A matters which would certainly further strengthen our Audit Committee capabilities," comments Board Chairman Andreas Koopmann.

The Board of Georg Fischer warmly thanks Kurt E. Stirnemann for his long-time commitment to the company, first as President of GF AgieCharmilles as of 1996, then as CEO and Delegate of the Board of Directors of Georg Fischer from 2003 to 2008, and as member of the Board from 2003 to 2014. He can look back to a successful career in the service of the company. We wish him all the best for the future.
