Carver wins two multi-million dollar contracts

Carver Pump has been awarded a two multi-million dollar contracts by Northrop Grumman Ship Systems, Newport News Operations, for the final design and development of certain pumps relating to the CVNX project.

CVNX represents the U.S. Navy’s next generation of aircraft carriers, and includes technological improvements that will lower operating costs while improving combat capabilities. CVNX 1, which will replace USS Enterprise (CVN 65) in 2013, is scheduled to begin construction in 2006, with CVNX 2 construction to follow several years later.

The City of El Mirage, Arizona has significantly improved reliability and reduced maintenance at its water and wastewater treatment facilities since replacing its diaphragm pumps with 13 Qdos 20 peristaltic chemical metering pumps supplied by Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions (WMFTS). The pumps were installed at remote well sites and a wastewater reclamation facility.
