Brian D. Jellison Elected Chairman of Roper Industries
Roper Industries, Inc. announced that its Board of Directors has elected Brian D. Jellison, Roper’s President, Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors, to the additional post of Chairman of the Board.
This change completes the leadership transition process that began when Mr. Jellison joined Roper in November 2001. He succeeds Derrick N. Key, who has served as Chairman since 1994. Mr. Key had been CEO of Roper from December 1991 to November 2001. Mr. Key will remain a director of the Company.

Under Brian’s leadership, Roper is well-positioned for continued success.”
Mr. Jellison said, “During his more than 20-year tenure at Roper, Derrick built the foundation of the Company’s success.
