Biral Opts for Spaix V2
The Swiss pump manufacturer Biral AG opted for Spaix V2, the software package for pump selection and configuration. The programme is designed to support Biral clients as well as employees in configuring centrifugal pumps and in drawing up commercial documents.
The programme is capable to handle Biral’s complete product line and to configure, apart from different types of centrifugal pumps, booster plants and accessories. Even spare parts can be recorded trouble-free. By means of an integrated and comfortable user administration feature, different user requirements can be taken into consideration. In this way, customers are able to quickly launch a search in the standard programme for the most suited pump whereas Biral employees can draw up documentations for special designs via a password protected access.
In Europe, Spaix has become a quasi standard for pump selection. Dieter Borer, project manager at Biral, sums up the advantages of this new software as follows: “Spaix enables us to easily exchange data with our business partners and to considerably cut down data maintenance work.” By using Spaix standard software, Biral will also benefit from future software developments.
Spaix V2 is the latest development by VSX – VOGEL SOFTWARE in the field of pump selection software.
