09.03.2016

Bearings Plus (BPI) is proud to announce that the quality management system at Dover Pearland Operations (DPO) recently received ISO 9001:2008 certification.

DPO is a 150,000 square foot facility shared by Bearings Plus (a Waukesha Bearings business) and fellow Dover companies Cook Compression and Midland Manufacturing (part of OPW). The shared services strategy exemplified at DPO provides not only internal efficiencies but also enhanced processes and synergies to improve quality, innovation and customer service. The certified quality management system recognizes the joint efforts of Bearings Plus and Cook Compression, covering the design, manufacture, service and repair of compressor valves, fuel gas injection valves, engineered plastics, fluid film bearings, seals, components for turbo machinery, and sealing systems.

“Receiving the ISO 9001:2008 certification validates BPI’s long-standing commitment to provide quality service and products,” said Alexandria Williams, Quality Engineer for Bearings Plus at DPO. “Through continuous improvement efforts, we are fulfilling the highest international standards for quality management, and giving our customers added peace of mind.”
