Baker Hughes Names Didier Charreton Vice President Human Resources

Baker Hughes Incorporated announced that Didier Charreton, 43, has been appointed vice president of human resources for Baker Hughes Inc. and is expected to assume his duties by March 1, 2007.

Mr. Charreton will replace Greg Nakanishi, 55, who is retiring from the company effective January 2, 2007.

Mr. Charreton joins Baker Hughes from Coats Plc, where he currently serves as human resources director. Prior to his current position he held a variety of positions within the human resources function of Schlumberger Limited in Europe, Latin America and the United States.

Mr. Charreton received his business degree from the Ecole Superieure de Commerce of Clermont-Ferrand and a post-graduate degree (DEA Sc de Gestion) from the University of Lyon.
