Baker Hughes Announces Changes to Board of Directors
Baker Hughes Incorporated announced that Larry D. Brady, chairman and chief executive officer of UNOVA, Inc., has been appointed as a Class II director to fill the position being vacated by the retirement of Richard D. Kinder, chairman and chief executive officer of Kinder Morgan, Inc. and Kinder Morgan Energy Partners L.P.
Mr. Kinder announced his intent to retire after 10 years of service on the Board. His retirement will take effect at the April 28, 2004 Annual Meeting of Stockholders.
Biographical Information
Mr. Larry D. Brady, 61, is chairman and chief executive officer of UNOVA, Inc. Mr. Brady has served as chairman of UNOVA since 2001 and as chief executive officer since 2000. He served as president from 1999 to 2001 and as chief operating officer from 1999 to 2000. Mr. Brady served as president of FMC Corporation from 1993 to 1999. He served as vice president of FMC from 1984 to 1989, as executive vice president from 1989 to 1999 and was a director from 1989 to 1999. Mr. Brady is a director of Pactiv Corporation, a member of the Advisory Board of Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and vice chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.
