AXFLOW EXPANDS IN DENMARK – ACQUIRES SCANA GODTKJÆR

AxFlow Holding AB, Sweden, has through its Danish subsidiary AxFlow A/S, Allerød, acquired 100% of the activities of Scana Godtkjær & Armatur AS, Smørum, Denmark.

With this acquisition AxFlow A/S strengthens its position on the Danish market as the leading supplier of Pumps, Mixers, Valves, Fittings, Instrumentation and Filters to the Danish Industry with a combined turnover of EURO 12 million.

Scana Godtkjær & Armatur AS offers components and complete solutions, where the common denominator is pressure, temperature and aggressive medias for all types of industries. The company represents leading pump- and valve manufacturers in Europe, such as Lewa dosing pumps, Bredel peristaltic pumps, Hermetic canned motor centrifugal pumps, Gestra valves and control equipment. Scana Godtkjær & Armatur AS has a turnover of EURO 4.5 million and a staff of 15 highly competent persons.

AxFlow was established in Denmark in April 1998 under the name of Danax A/S. In November 1999 the Flow Division of Berendsen PMC was acquired. In October 2000 Danax A/S changed company name to AxFlow A/S.
