AxFlow AB Joins Forces with Chemo-Invest Specialpumpar
AxFlow AB has announced the acquisition of Chemo-Invest Specialpumpar, making AxFlow AB the largest distributor of positive displacement pumps and fluid handling systems in Sweden.
Announcing the acquisition, AxFlow AB managing director Charlotte Burmester commented: “I strongly believe that merging the resources and experience of Chemo-Invest into our operation will bring considerable benefits for both companies’ existing clients and new business prospects as a result of our combined strengths. Chemo-Invest have complementary product ranges and more than 40 years of experience in the provision of PD pumps especially to the food and pharmaceutical market sectors, where they have been highly successful.”
AxFlow’s product portfolio is now extended by the addition of Hermetic, Waukesha, Lewa, Maag, Richter, Habermann and Schmitt.
The AxFlow Group is the largest distributor of positive displacement pumps, fluid handling systems and related services in Europe and represents world-leading suppliers. “The acquisition of Chemo-Invest strengthens AxFlow’s sales representation in Southern and Western parts of Sweden, with offices in Helsingborg and Gothenburg. It will also provide new opportunities for Chemo-Invest’s employees as they now become part of the international AxFlow Group,” continues Charlotte Burmester.

Chemo-Invest Specialpumpar is one of the three companies within the Chemo-Invest Group. Its’ core markets are in the chemical, food, pharmaceutical, plastic, mineral and metallurgy industries. The Group was established in 1950 as an engineering company concentrating on specialty process machines and equipment customised mainly for the chemical industry. AxFlow AB was established in 1991 and is established as a major force in the chemical, mining, pulp and paper and water and wastewater treatment industries.
