Atlas Copco has Acquired a French Distributor of Compressors

Atlas Copco has acquired the operating assets of FS Medical Technology Business (FS Medical), based in California, USA. The business services, sells, verifies, and tests piped medical and laboratory gas equipment and systems.

Celeros Flow Technology brand ClydeUnion Pumps has secured a major Long-Term Agreement (LTA) with EDF which will see it provide dedicated pump maintenance and spares services across the customer’s entire network of nuclear power stations in France. The multi-million Euros contract cements the strategic lifecycle partnership between the two companies for a further 10 years.

Atlas Copco has developed a new versatile range of electric surface self-priming dewatering pumps for a wide variety of applications. The E-Pump range consists of different models with a canopy and open set configuration. This flexible solution is ideally suited for many applications like sewage bypass, in the municipality sector and construction projects with access to a power source.

Atlas Copco, founded in Stockholm in 1873, celebrates its 150-year anniversary. During a century and a half, Atlas Copco has been driving development and delivering breakthrough innovations to customers in many different industries.

Atlas Copco has agreed to acquire the cryopump service and distribution business of ZEUS Co., Ltd. The business provides service and sales distribution for the Vacuum Technique business area’s CTI and Polycold products in South Korea.

Mats Rahmström, President and CEO of the Atlas Copco Group, comments on the report for Q4 that was released. “Demand was mixed during the quarter and order volumes decreased, primarily due to lower order intake for vacuum equipment,“ said Mats Rahmström.
